Sunnyvale Community Players welcomes you to our audition workshop on April 1st at 1:00PM to approximately 5:00PM. This workshop will be a chance for newer actors to learn about auditioning and for more experienced actors to hone their skills. During this course, actors will learn all the necessary aspects of auditioning: preparing a resume, selecting a monologue and song, slating, maintaining calm and focus at auditions, and much more. Each performer will get the opportunity to perform a song and monologue and receive valuable feedback from working professionals. In addition, all participants who choose to audition for any of the SCP season 55 shows (Little Mermaid, Sweeney Todd, The Last 5 Years, Mary Poppins, or Guys and Dolls) will receive feedback on their auditions from the directors of those shows.
The registration fee is $100 and scholarships are available to support those in need. Registration is restricted to ages 13 and up.
