Add as IPhone App

Step 1

Launch the Safari browser on your iPhone and navigate to the exact website URL you want to convert into an app.

Note: This process must be done in Safari—other browsers like Chrome or Firefox on iOS do not support adding Web Apps directly to the Home Screen.

Tap the Share button located at the bottom center of the screen (a square icon with an arrow pointing upward).

Scroll down through the share options list and tap Add to Home Screen.

If you don’t see this option immediately, swipe up on the share sheet menu to reveal the full list of actions.

  1. Type the name you want displayed under the app icon on your Home Screen.
  2. Tap Add in the top-right corner of the screen.

Return to your iPhone’s Home Screen and locate your new icon. Tap it to launch—the site will now open in a standalone, borderless app window without Safari’s standard search bar or browser navigation buttons.
