Sunnyvale Community Players

Sunnyvale Community Players is auditioning performers (ages 8+) for our upcoming production of Into the Woods.

SCP is a non-equity community theater made up of volunteer performers.

Please note: While some roles may be cast with performers under 18, this is primarily an adult production and most roles will be cast with performers 18+.

All adult performers cast will be eligible for a $150 travel reimbursement.

AUDITIONING

You may sign up for an in person audition or submit a virtual audition using the link below.

If submitting a virtual audition, please record:
• One 32 bar cut of a Stephen Sondheim song
• A children’s story, no longer than 90 seconds

Be creative and have fun. There is no single correct approach.

In Person Auditions

May 6th from 6:00pm to 10:00pm

May 7th from 6:00pm to 0:00pm
May 9th from 12:00pm to 5:00pm

 

Callbacks (By Invitation Only)

May 23rd from 10:00am to 5:00pm
Location will be sent 24 hours in advance

Virtual Auditions Due By May 9th at 5:00pm

Rehearsal Information

Rehearsals run July 19th through August 27th

Schedule:
• Sundays from 6:00pm to 10:00pm
• Monday through Thursday from 7:00pm to 10:00pm

Sitzprobe: August 29th from 12:00pm to 5:00pm

 

Tech Week

August 30th through September 4th

General schedule:
• Sunday from 8:00am to 12:00pm and 5:00pm to 11:00pm
• Monday through Friday from 6:00pm to 11:00pm

 

Performance Dates
September 5th -September 27th 

Strike will take place immediately following the final performance on September 27th
